PUBLIC NOTICE OF A RESPONSE ACTION PLAN AND PUBLIC INFORMATIONAL MEETING: 3400 Boston Street - The property located at 3400 Boston Street, in Baltimore City, Maryland has been accepted into Maryland's Voluntary Cleanup Program. A proposed response action plan (RAP) has been submitted to the Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) for approval. Environmental studies at the property have identified soils impacted by metals and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon compounds; groundwater impacted by volatile organic compounds and petroleum hydrocarbons; and soil vapor impacted by volatile organic compounds. The RAP proposes soil capping, soil removal, installation of a vapor barrier in future structures, and a deed restriction on the use of groundwater beneath the site.
