Notice of Application for Formation of a Bank Holding Company Hamilton Bancorp, Inc., Towson, Maryland, intends to apply to the Federal Reserve Board for permission to become a bank holding company with respect to its ownership of Hamilton Bank. We intend to maintain control of Hamilton Bank upon the conversion of its charter from that of a federal saving bank to that of a Maryland commercial bank. Hamilton Bank's present main office address is 5600 Harford Road, Baltimore, Maryland 21214 and its main office address upon the charter conversion will be 501 Fairmount Avenue, Suite 200, Towson, Maryland 21286, which is currently the site of a Hamilton Bank branch. The Federal Reserve considers a number of factors in deciding whether to approve the application, including the record of performance of banks we own in helping to meet local credit needs. You are invited to submit comments in writing on this application to the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, P.O. Box 27622, Richmond, Virginia 23261. Comments may also be sent electronically to The comment period will not end before November 12, 2017 and may be somewhat longer.
